On Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 May 2013 the I.S.I.S. Foundation organizes its yearly symposium. The theme of this year is:
Practical spirituality –
Beyond matter, in society
Two days of lectures, exchange, and workshops in which you can discover, awaken and practice spirituality in yourself to become an example and source of inspiration for others. You master matter, but out of compassion you work in society. What could be more practical than that?
The working languages are both English and Dutch; the lectures will be translated simultaneously.
In 1979 some members of the Dutch section of The Theosophical Society Point Loma Blavatskyhouse took the initiative to start a theosophical magazine. We did not want to write about ‘technical’ Theosophy. Primarily, we wanted to show the practical value of Theosophy.
On Sunday 24 March the doors of the Blavatsky House are wide open for the participants of the ‘Wereldreis door eigen stad’ (trip around the world in your own city) in The Hague. This yearly event is part of the United Nations Initiative, The International Day against Race Discrimination on 21 March.
