Do groups, nations and cultures reincarnate? - Sunday February 12 2017
THE HAGUE, Blavatskyhouse, De Ruijterstraat 74
On Sunday February 12th, the fifth talk of our series of eight English Theosophy Talks will start at 14:00 (doors open at 13:30) in the Blavatsky House in The Hague.
During our incarnations we learn by experiences that make us grow inside. But we never reincarnate alone, always in groups. During each incarnation we meet those with whom we have built up a relation in past lives.
Now we can ask ourselves: does each of us have close relations with the whole of humanity? And ... what is a ‘nation’ or ‘culture’? What characterizes a group: its habits and material resources, or inner (Universal) resources?
What is the origin of mistrust between different groups, which leads to so many tensions and outbreaks of violence? Do we belong to a certain nation life after life, or have we lived in many different nations?
The doctrines of karma and reincarnation provide us a different view than that is common in daily live: a fundamental vision that allows us to eliminate the causes of the current tensions and wars.
