A cosmic view of life - Sunday January 14
Sunday January 14, 14:00 (doors open at 13:30) - Blavatsky House, De Ruijterstraat 74, The Hague
Cosmos, literally ‘order’, is the name given by the ancient Greeks to the universe, in which a certain harmony and order rules. We humans are walking symbols of the cosmos. We are the home for countless interacting - living - building blocks: cells, bacteria, molecules, atoms. With our mind we continuously influence this microcosm - consciously and unconsciously.
If we look at the macrocosm, we are not always aware of the mutual influence that exists between all life being part of it. If we are open to a universal, cosmic view of life, based on the esoteric tradition or Theosophia, we are better able to recognize this interconnectedness.
According to Theosophy, the same cosmic life flows through everything in the cosmos. It is one organic whole in which all life is on its way to become more and more aware of the unity of the cosmos. Compassion is the law that rules the cosmos.
These are no daily thoughts, but in this talk we will show that you can find them in all major religions, and that scientific research aproaches more and more the ancient wisdom or Theosophia.
