What is practical spirituality?
Spirituality is ‘hot’. There are many courses and books available. But how do you find your way through all of this information? Is this something you are able to do yourself or should you rely on others?
Above all there is the question why you should live spiritually. Is spirituality too ‘woolly’ and of no practical use or is living spiritually the answer to all of life’s problems?
Finding answers
In order to be able to find answers to all of these questions, the I.S.I.S. Foundation has organized a symposium about practical spirituality on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 May 2013.
Two days of lectures, exchange, and workshops in which you can discover, awaken and practice spirituality in yourself to become an example and source of inspiration for others. You master matter, but out of compassion you work in society. What could be more practical than that?
The working languages are both English and Dutch; the lectures will be translated simultaneously.

Visit the Blavatsky House during the ‘Wereldreis door eigen stad’
On Sunday March 24 the doors of the Blavatsky House are wide open for the participants of the ‘Wereldreis door eigen stad’ (trip around the world in your own city) in The Hague. This yearly event is part of the United Nations Initiative, The International Day against Race Discrimination on 21 March.
Wereldreis door eigen stad is for all people that live in and outside The Hague. They can visit the many cultural, religious and peace organizations based in the city. This is a day that enables you to get to know more about other people’s ideologies.
That is why The Theosophical Society is one of the ‘world spots’ for the third time in a row. This day offers an excellent opportunity to come and visit us with friends or family, listen to a presentation or have a good conversation with one of our volunteers.

Date Point Loma Convivium 2013
The Point Loma Convivium 2013 will be held August 1-4 2013 in Point Loma, San Diego, USA. We will also organize a Point Loma Convivium Day preceding ITC 2013 on the 7th of August 2013 in New York, USA.
